About Coleman
More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a „no light, no pay“ clause–a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked–and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark.

In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company’s current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won’t deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

Awesome for the Handy Types ( UPS = Zero Stars) This kitchen is just the ticket, and let me tell you why some people are unhappy with it, calling it defective: It has to do with the way the side table is designed with round stock as hinge pins. It is not cheap, and is not defective. It was Not designed for shipping companies to throw on the ground numerous times instead of Picking it Up and placing it where it belongs.Well the nice people at UPS picked up and threw down my kitchen enough times the box was chewed up, and caused the side table rod hinges to both bend two unwanted directions, badly. A little patience and maybe some channel locks if your hands are not so strong, will set things right again. Since YOU won’t be throwing the kitchen down several times it will work, and last, just fine.Next worth mentioning: The stove area. My Coleman Grill stove was not able to sit well enough on the wire stove shelf for me to even think about cooking on it, the feet don’t line up with the wire rods, so one shift…

coleman camp kitchen Coleman Packaway Deluxe Camp Kitchenit was very easy to assemble. I really love this camp kitchen. I have wanted it for a long time now and I was just waiting for the price to come down to buy it. it is so handy It folds up great. It is kind of heavy, but that is because it is very sturdy.I like that I can fit it any where with room to spare. and still have lots of room for other stuff. I like the legs on this set much better than the accordion style legs on other sets, you can store things underneath on its wire shelf that comes with it. It works well as a drying rack also. the spice rack is wonderful, aluminum foil and spices were keep ready to use and the hanger for the utensils are a bonus. The sink easily lifts out for emptying. only thing I don’t like is the paper towel holder it is about worthless.the suction cups that hold it on simply do not do the job, I just have a regular up right wooden paper towel holder that I sit on the…
